Wayback Burgers

I went to Wayback for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. When I arrived there was no customers in the restaurant. Was greeted by a staff member when I walked through the door. I was able to order on a self-service kiosk. There was a long list of burger (w/create your own options), chicken, and hot dog items to choose from. I decided to order the Cheeesy Burger with a side of fries and a Oreo milkshake. Everything was cooked fresh after I ordered and at my table within 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and presentable. The only knock is that I had a hard time finding napkins. Only one table had napkins in the dispenser. The burger was a double smash style burger with four pieces of melted cheese, and the bun was toasted and placed upside down on the burger (intentionally as advertised). The burger was delicious and well seasoned while not too greasy. You could tell the meat was fresh and higher quality than your typical fast food place. I give the burger a 5/5. The fries were hot and crisp. The only problem was they were over salted to the point I couldn’t really eat them. The few fries I was able to eat were really good. Next time I will ask for them unsalted and add salt myself 4/5. The Oreo shake was nothing special to write home about but it hit the spot 3/5. The Cheeesy combo ($18) plus the shake ($8) came out to a total of $26. I would eat here again but skip the milkshake as I can find better ones elsewhere at a similar price point. Overall experience was a 4/5.

They make a darn good burger but like soooo many smaller burger joints, paying +$10 for just a burger makes it a tough sell. Really nice people too. Cut the froo froo and get the price per burger into the $6 range and I'd eat there every day.

Better than Food Rucker’s, and other Burger Joints in the Ashburn area. Fresh and hot off the grill, tasty fries huge portion. No frills yet outstanding food and service, without a luxury burger price.

We had such a great experience at Wayburger Ashburn! The burgers and shakes were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The restaurant itself was spotless, and I really appreciated how clean the bathroom was. To me, that says a lot about how they run the whole place. The staff were also very polite and welcoming. A special shout-out to the young staff member with glasses (looked Asian) — he was especially attentive and kind. Overall, everything from the food to the cleanliness to the service was excellent. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back!

So delicious BLT grilled chicken sandwich, juicy cheesy burger cooked just right, oooo and cheesy bacon fries. Wonderful clean atmosphere. Hospitality and service was great. I highly recommend Wayback Burgers. Price was fair service was fast. Food was so fresh off the grill, delicious and hot.

Good food. Much to do with how you order it. They have a huge burger that's awesome to go with a group and see who can eat it! But wait I've been going and don't see it advertised hope they but it back out it's a thing that was unique and made you go back or at least take notice. Taking notice is good. The food is good! Order them how you want. This place has it but a thousand island in n out or big Mac sauce type sauce is needed. There's is more BBQ type of mayo mix Tommys burgers from California. I miss them This place has a good replica if you order the it right. Chilli is just not as thick. Double chili cheese burger with tomatoes onions pickles and mustard. You add ketchup after at Tommy's remember!

Good place for freshly made burgers. The bacon double and chicken sandwich were really good. Chili-cheese fries as well. More pricey than your average burger joint, but worth it.

Great place to get a burger! Comparable to five guys you get a decent amount of food for the price, however be warned, a combo to them is ordering multiple items, not multiple items under one price. Food is good, staff is friendly and dining area is clean, will definitely return!
